Interviewer-"Can I ask you about two of your elements, first, [?] ran the issue in 78. Mr. Medrano-No, no he ran against my brother. Interviewer-"Well, Rene Castillo." Mr. Medrano-Rene Castillo? Interviewer-"Yea." Mr. Medrano-Well, unfortunately, I guess, I was there 13 years, I was there from 74-87, and, you know, how can we knock that dynasty down, he been there too long, he has been there too long. So, its one gives and no one challenges him [?]. So, then you start talking about [?] Here comes your LULAC's and your G. I forms, and then they start a powwow and its everybody that's I consider, you know, political person's that are against our philosophy, and then you got your Rene Martinez [?] and Rene's and Anita Martinez. I can name all, the're all closed to all downtown people, close I mean close and we want to know if you can give us the money and I think we can bring change down the school board been there too long and everything that he advocates is, you know, social change and I'm sure you'll are tired of [?] and you'll want to come back to the status quo, now he's asking for parity and he hollars and he gets parity and I'm sure you'll don't want to share parity, you'll continue to be status quo and that we got the right person that can dance to youl'lls music, so they'll work and then they want and then they start working the community and then he's been basically there too long, too long, been there too long and unfortunetely, I got arrested for DWI in 85 and thats coming down to my career as a role model, good example, DWI, serving on school board, I don't think so, that's a bad role model...
